Communication is King (Notes)

SKU: 0012

Ironically, this generation of kids is the most connected group of people in history, but for all their electronic connection to other people, they’re also vastly disconnected.

Case in point — two kids sitting side by side would rather hold a texting conversation than turn and face one another to talk. What has this done to our kids’ emotional intelligence?

When it comes to communication, we have the home field advantage. We are with our kids all day, and there are some practical things we can do to raise game changers.

In this talk, Jenni and Jody will explore the anatomy of a conversation, talk about raising good writers, inspire families to raise their emotional IQ, discuss the value of role playing and talk about raising effective advocates.
